I have over sixteen years experience working in a range of mental health, community and disability services settings, supporting people with sexual difficulties, self harm, substance abuse, mental, physical and psychological abuse, other traumas, mood disorders, relational issues, identity related issues, depression, anxiety & acquired brain injuries.
My educational background is in humanities, where I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Studies from Technological University Dublin. I also hold a Higher Diploma in Psychotherapy & a Master of Science in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the UCD School of Medicine. Additionally I hold a Specific Modality Training (Post-Masters) in Psychoanalysis from The School of Psychotherapy, St Vincent's University Hospital Dublin.
I have a passion for our country's mental health outcomes and I remain actively engaged with various services. My therapeutic work is conducted within the code of ethics of the Association of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy in Ireland (A.P.P.I.).
My practice is based in Dublin & online.
